Happy New Year 2011

... and YES it is still Christmas... the 'Christmastide'

For those of you who want to argue that Christmas is over – well yes, it is not December 25th anymore, but as we increasingly become a 'global market' the holiday season continues well into the new year.

My christmas internet research supports the idea that "The 12 Days of Christmas" starts on December 25th (better known as 'Christmas Day') and follows twelve consecutive days after.

So today is Christmas Day 8, with "eight maids a milking" and symbolizing the Eight Beatitudes.
